Writing is an art, especially poetry. It takes immense creativity to jot down short meaningful words which captivate the reader's attention and compels him/her to read between the lines, derive the meaning of what is being said, comprehend the perspective of the writer, which I must say is always different for every reader.
A poetry is good and impactful when it makes the reader think beyond the given. For example, take the following lines by eminent poet, Robert Frost:
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference."
When I read these lines, I have two perspectives. One is that the author took a less conventional decision in his life and prospered. The other one is an instinctive one which believes that the author has a sort of remorse over choosing the less trodden path.
See, such is the magic of the beautiful poetry. And if you are also a poet/writer/poetry lover, then here are a few fantastic tips by which you can improve your writing skills.
